Transformers Alternator Nemesis Prime & Binaltech BT22 Convoy with Fan's Project Gas Tank Upgrade

The longest name yet on my blog. Today I will showing the alternator version of BT-17 Nemesis Prime and BT-22 Convoy, with their gas tank upgrade by Fan's Project. A little background on the binaltechs and alternators. Its a series of 1/24 scale transforming toys based on real-world vehicles licensed by both Japanese and American car manufacturers. Let's take a look at the car mode 1st.

Think of the Alternators as the cheaper to produce plastic version of the heavier diecast Binaltechs. The Binaltechs are hefty and can seriously hurt someone's leg if dropped accidentally. The BT-17 which is the black Binaltech version of BT-22 is a rare gem and can go up to SGD800 on auction sites. Only 800 of them were produced to my knowledge. I am happy to have the Alternator version.

About the upgrade kit, it looks ok but not really in the league as their previous effort(city commander armour upgrade kit). The matrix looks excellent though, but at SGD$40 I really expected more from the upgrade. I have a difficult time fixing the gas tank gun to the hands of both toys, I had to unscrew a screw near the handle just so that it can fit in the hands without hindrance. The plastic looks cheap and feels like it will crack at any moment. A real dissapointment with the upgrade kit but the toys are great.
