Transformers Movie Replica Optimus Prime custom painted

Its suppose to be a replica but its just not very good quality and not very accurate as a replica. Its sort of a revoltech movie Optimus Prime. Maybe the one I received from amazon was a bad defect. I had to custom paint it or it really looks ugly.

Transformers Animated Activators Optimus Prime

One of my favourites, its small so can be easily displayed and I like how it is transformed, just a press of a tab and it springs to robot mode in a blink of an eye. The only thing I hate is that its easy for scalpers to sweep it all out from a store so that they can scalp it themselves. SCALPERS WILL DIE!

Although it may not look like it but its actually quite poseable, I think the major con would be that it did not come with any weapons. I guess I can live with it or maybe someone can custom make something.

Transformers Superlink Convoy with Wing Saber

Pictures 1st.

Anyway, a lot of people have said that Superlink Optimus is one of the uglier of Optimuses out there. I have to agree but once you combine with Wingsaber or with his 4 power ranger-esque vehicles, you get quite a good looking toy. Wingsaber is a must get combiner for Superlink Prime.

What it looks like now

This is what my collection looks like now.

Transformers Animated Supreme Class Optimus Prime

All I can say about this is that its pretty much wasted potential. Its as big as the Masterpiece Optimus Prime, cost a bomb but not really that big of a deal. I will give my thoughts after the pictures.

Articulation is almost non-existant. The weight is too heavy to pose other than just stand upright. Transformation? Crappy as hell.

I much rather they spend less time on the electronics stuff and more on the transformation and general engineering of the toy. Truly wasted potential. Sold it away after only 2 months. Lets hope Takara can come up with something better.

Transformers Classics City Commander Ultra Magnus Pt2

Here's part 2 of this amazing upgrade from fansproject.

Here's the basic classics Ultra Magnus, basically just a white repaint of Optimus

One word: FANTASMORGASMIC! There are still minor problems with the articulations and the snap on armour is not really tight fitting but I don't really care. Once the armour is together and the poses are up, all the problems seem to fade away (posing is really hard but its spending the time to do it). That's all folks!

Transformers Classics City Commander Ultra Magnus Pt1

Its here , the upgrade and my vote for toy of the year, you have all been waiting for. Let's get right down to part one of this insane pictorial fest.

The basic white classics Ultra Magnus. Basically just a repaint of classics Optimus Prime. The new modernised version of the classic G1 Ultra Magnus

And here's the upgrade armour/trailer. Feels gorgeous and matches the classics Ultra Magnus colours real well.

The trailer with the cab. Unlike the vintage Magnus, the cab and the trailer do not swivel about. Its connected as sort of a single entity that moves as a whole. Dont' know if it was intentional or a design flaw but I never leave it in vehicle mode for long. Stay tune to part 2 where I will show the robot form with the trailer upgrade.
